The only reason I could see them making a class for the twins is to create a street class where the twins would be competitive. I doubt they are going to make an STX-lite class to create a "cool setup" class just for us.
If it's a street class for the twins, then allowing the best "street" parts from all 86's makes sense and won't require new structures for policing.
I also think it would be fair to have a participation requirement to keep the class. The fact that there are so many people that want to run street in the twins is really the only justification for carving out a spot just for our car.
