I went supercharger for the throttle response. I came from an r53 Mini Cooper then to a GTI and now the BRZ. After leaving my Mini Cooper I missed how quickly power came on relative to when I pressed the accelerator. Sure the GTI makes peak boost stupidly low but even when you cruise at 3k, hit the gas...there is lag...then you go. It's just how turbos work. With the JRSC I hit the gas and it's power now. Not in a half second when I need to already start braking for the next corner, but right now. Reasons why I went JRSC over Edelbrock was ease of install, very good thermals, and track proven. Not that Edelbrock isn't any of those, it's just that the JRSC fit me better and how I like to think the BRZ should be driven. A high revving car.
