Yes, the plug in Luftwaffel's picture is the end of the car's USB harness that plugs into the back of the OEM head unit.
Metra's new
AX-SUBUSB2 adapter (which I have available) is the correct one.
The older AX-SUBUSB is different and not the proper one for 2016 models.
