But there IS an inherent weakness in construction. Most people blame the tuner because it is the most logical thing to do initially. But when you tear your engine down and you see a rod snapped in half, yet your car was running fine just a few days ago, how can you still say you had a bad tune? I understand very well how tuning works, and I understand that small imperfections can wreak havoc on engines after periods of time whether short or long. However, the FA20 is known for having weak rods. Ask any shop that has tested the limits of the engine, or who has build these engines. They will tell you the same thing.
