Frankly, not sure I see the harm in asking or responding. If I had a bucket of money to spend I might do the same thing. Others may have thought of something I didn't think of, and lets face it, at this point, nothing any of us could do to our car would be 100% unique unless we were going way off in left field, like adding a diesel bus engine to it.

I see it like this, if I have a bucket of money to spend Ill think of what my car needs the most. I close in on the specifics then if im shakey on procedure or what to watchout for, then I consult the forum. If its a simple change, then thats basically a wasted thread.
