I've enjoyed watching this little clip again (and again). I never get to see myself on video, and I found it very interesting. I looked at my matching video and decided that despite a slightly different line (turn in from mid-track iso left-track), the technique is my normal style for Red Star's tight corners - ie: trail brake, and swing it in under braking, then catch it and power out.
Surprised to see how deep I brake into the corner, and as the car starts breaking away and the tail starts coming out, I come off the brakes, give a quick flick of counter-steer (watch the front wheel), and get on the gas.
I'm not sure why the brake lights give a last quick flicker? Could indicate that I'm coming off the brakes gradually and barely have them on then? Dunno...
I also have no idea if this is a good or bad technique?
Works for me, but who knows?
