Also, how are we suppose to do the washers / bolt to attach the intake tube to the support? Right now I have it as bolt > large washer > bracket > small washer > support --> is this correct?

yeah, i think mine is touching as well. That's how I did the washer/bolt order as well, no issues so far.
Are you using the bigMAF or the regular CAI? How was your fitment with the tube through the radiator support and air diverter?
