Went to Toyota of Pasadena, originally planning to get my deposit check back, lolz. Ended up deciding to just leave it and wait (although I prolly won't get the car anyway).
They had a red FRS there. Parked in their back lot, it was hella dusty. It's supposed to get cleaned and prepped for installation of a "ground effects" kit, said Jay the salesman. He still has no idea when any other cars are coming, but does know that they will come "tricked out" (his words not mine) with ground effects kits (is that the same as a body kit aka the five AD kit?).
Also, regarding the Raven FRS I was talking about the other day...Some bad news... It's going to come installed with a "ground effects kit," and other things.. What a shame... I guess this is the alternative that dealers are taking instead of straight up marking them up, right?
As a reminder, Toyota of Pasadena will be getting basically 1 of each color in AT, and the black one previously mentioned is the only MT. Who knows when the preordered FRS's will be coming in...
In the meantime, enjoy today's pictures. The red is solid red (no glittery speckles/metallic stuff). Looked really good:
EDIT: Oh yeah, Jay said that that SCION applique or watever you call it on the trunk lip is stock. I ran my fingers over it and it's smooth. If one looks closely, it's a clear sticker that spans across the bumper.
