Bat Cave, NC, is not THE Bat Cave but growing up and passing through here in the 60's I always expected to see Adam West driving by in the Batmobile.
Unfortunately, the actual cave, which is the home to several variety of bats and is the largest granite fissure cave in North America, is not open to the public so this is as close as you can get.

Also, not to far from here up the Chimney Rock Parkway is the Eastern Continental Divide. Unfortunately there was a sign but no place to pull over on this heavily traveled road. Hopefully some lucky FR-S owner in the area can get a picture of that and post it.
