Yeah I agree. The surface area of the OEM oil cooler is too small to be used for true racing applications. I think that you also have a good point that we're trying to "cool" oil with 195 degF coolant which probably won't do all that much. I'm just wondering how much a difference is it between tapping into the throttle body and the "true" Forester/WRX method using the OEM oil cooler.
