Old thread, but I think the reason you can't re-drill the standard front rotors is the Megan / Hardrace front hubs wont fit inside them.

Megan list their 114.3 front and rear hubs as 145mm in diameter, whereas the external diameter of the hub part of the front rotor is 139mm (see image below). The insides got to be smaller so the hubs aint going to fit.

The same measurement on the rear rotors is about 200mm so if they are redrilled, the hubs will fit inside
