Of course along with that comes big depreciation, so if you are someone who does not keep a car 5 years or more you have to take that into account. I know Edmunds paid like $28K for a loaded Focus ST and one year later it was worth $19K when they sold it used.
A car like a WRX is not going to depreciate that much at all after a year.
