When I say last I mean years of constant beating. And when I mean beating I mean driven by a kid who is no pro shifter either.
There is evidence yes of peoples perfectly fine tranny's that check in, but that's because either they don't rag on the car, or they have been driving a stick for a long time. (I've never driven a stick so the thought of going FI on a manual 86, I worry about the transmission since I'm not the best shifter in the world)
I guess for me it would be more of a piece of mind to know that a replacement tranny like the V160 or more practically the auto with SSP upgrades, is more than sufficient for a less than stellar shifter and power output.
