Evidently there are a lot of folks that have no idea what hybrid technology applied to a sports car can provide. Electric motors are torque monsters. If you combine an electric motor with a gasoline engine you (can) have low end torque with high end horsepower. Possibly, this would be expensive and difficult. But certainly not a bad thing if it could be done.
Let's loose the Prius mentality. Think more along the lines of the 918.
