They've been manufacturing OEM wheels for all of those brands (and a few more) since the late '70s. OEMs normally don't enumerate who white-labels their stuff in press releases
. You're correct about where quality comes from... but too many people think that there is a 1:1 correlation between quality and price. This just isn't the case, and has more to do with conspicuous consumption than anything else. People buy wheels like they buy jeans and handbags, for the most part.
