The cold side piping that runs behind the passenger headlight needs to be checked after installing the headlights. I was hearing a bit of rattling and chased it down tonight and discovered when I reinstalled the headlights I had sandwiched the IC tube in between the headlight and the attachment point of the front crash bar and if left unattended would have wore a hole in the IC pipe.
After reinstallation of the headlights check this side and make sure you still have clearance. Now that I loosened things up and moved them the issue is solved. Not a problem with the kit just something to be aware of when aligning things. |
Try using rubber pads with adhesive backing for tight fits like this. It'll eliminate any rattling/vibrating, and absorb the wear.
The "other" kit includes a bunch of these pads for the exact same reason.
