Once a dealer hits their max they will get NOT additional cars until the next 6-month cycle. The example is if a dealer gets 6 units, and they have 25 orders, then they will only be able to fill 6 orders be it customer orders or for regular inventory. The other 19 will not be filled.

The timelibe seems to suggest the first cars will come out sometime in May, or June. I'd also guess that orders will be filled first. We do not know what color selections will be offered, nor how many a month maximum any one dealer will receieve regardlss of orders. Dealers that do not have customer orders can still request cars for their inventory. Subaru will assure all dealers receive cars, to prevent dealers from stacking up all their allocation and trying to receive it the first month.
Another dealership I've been talked to gave me a call and gave me the same story with a portal date of Feb. 27th. So unless he's stalking this forum or someone on here went and talked to that specific dealer, we've got confirmation.
