Google shows swaths of red traffic until 8:30. Calaveras cuts through all of it.
TBH the highway is not safe either. When I was a kid I was in a rollover accident on 680 when a guy sideswiped my mom's car causing it to cut across 6 lanes of traffic and flip. Everytime you drive you risk something bad happening.
Everyone can make their own decision on which way to go, but I feel I split the group now
