sorry just re-read and FYI they are definitely significantly different just in that the BRZ is the only subaru thats rear steer (steering rack behind front wheel axis); but again, the hubs themselves...

But even dodging the control arm mount it looks like the angle on axles won’t be any worse than on the ‘Y’ shaped subaru arrangements you mentioned fortunately...
