Pocket the 6K and take the car to a good detailer. Don't bother with recall, car will probably run worst after repair. Run the car till it blows up, then use the 6K to do a proper build.

You made a good choice and are going to have more fun with the manual. You can find auto RS1 online pretty easily, but the manual RS1 is getting tough to find in the used market.
