245 really isn't that much tire IMHO. That is what I daily, with stock power. I would opt for the 17x9s, personally. You can adjust your rear grip level (if you prefer a more oversteer-prone chassis)...

Not sure if I follow. If you mean that the Al pieces won't be any lighter, I agree. The ugly plastic idlers just look out of place next to the fancy Raceseng pulleys.

I like 'em. Nice wheel for those that still want to retain the overall balance of the car (between grip and slide) using 215/225 tires, but with better fitment.

Sure hope they come out with this...
