Colder air = denser, = more air into the engine = more fuel to compensate the ratio = more power.

I'm going to guess that the whole routing around the crash bar etc is one of the reasons for the turbulent MAF readings. Then again, I'm not an engineer, but I haven't had any solid answers.

Not sure, I haven't heard of many people with the kit. Tuner said it was common to this kit, and Treadstone hasn't commented, in fact they are very hard to contact.

Just FYI there's another hidden bolt on the left...

Just FYI there's another hidden bolt on the left of that backet quite far down that goes straight into the block, that one in particular is the grounding bolt, so check that one too.
