Sadly, not in my Lancer. Once you hit 30 miles left (roughly 1 gallon), it just blanks out...fairly useless when it matters most. The Lancer is the only car I've owned that's had the miles to empty...

If it's paid off, or you have a lower payment than the added cost of gas would be. Chances are, extra car payment would be more than the extra cost of gas.
