Hmm interesting thought. Is the clutch spring the thin wire-like thing that I feel down by the pivot? Maybe I'll try spreading out the grease some more to cover that.

I removed the slave pin and greased both ends not too long ago when the the rubber boot ripped. Should I fill it up with grease?

I think the noise is primarily coming from the clutch fork pivot...

I ended up removing the slave cylinder and lubricating the clutch fork...

That's unfortunate..

Oh, and the metal that was welded onto the strut bolt was caused by the jumper cable. There's enough extra material on there now that the nut definitely will not come off...

Does the car need to be level when flushing brake fluid?

This is my first time flushing brake fluid, and I only have 2 jack stands. Can I do the rear first, then the front? Or is it recommended that the car be level to the ground.
