Toyota R&D does not need the study the aftermarket to tweak parts. This header is almost identical to the previous one with some marginally larger pipes. It isn't some miracle of technology.

Doesn't matter who came up with the numbers they are what they are and any number of conspiracy theories can be thrown at them but they are official. Maybe the original was 202 and they rolled it...
