That was just lighting in some of the pics..you can compare from pic to pic to see that it's lighter and darker in different lights. As far as cloudiness, I'm not sure what you are seeing.

Simply changed the configuration of the wires, install will be exactly the same. The performance of the lights weren't affected, but apparently it was creating a resistance that the car didn't like....
