To me it's no "uglier" than a WRX or EVO. I actually quite like it in a few of the darker colors. I'll be test driving one in the next few months once I sell the BRZ.

Not really a wear and tear type part. It'd probably see more wear if they were driven on daily and left out in the elements.

Really, unless your going huge hp the 2.5" should be sufficient. So any OP/FP that fit stock would work.
