No good reason, second gen is better then first gen on all fronts. I switched from 13 FRS(125k miles) to 23 GR86, surprising how much the creature comfort of backup camera and push start matters lol...

Last weekend I was finally able to pull the trigger on a '23 model at a price where I was happy with!

Had my '13 FRS since 2014 with 8k miles, it is at 123k now. Quite a noticeable improvement!

I've had this since the day I bought it. I assumed its the relay that signals the computer to release you out of park.

I consider it as normal operation. Over time you wont even notice it.
