My experience, I have the street lite flywheel(900 rpm idle) and I chatter when idling with AC on. The pedal effort is slightly increase but once used to it you won't be able to tell the difference....

I'd go for a drive and see where the engagement point is.. I think the pedal coming from the floor up, it should be about 3" from it or so but this is subjective and you may like it to engage closer...
