This is pretty much dead on. I had an 04 Z06 for 4 years and it is a great car but it will need a lot of little things to actually be reliable if you drive it hard.

I expect that the 4.3 will require 8000 RPM and taller tires if they'll fit, like 245/45/17 or going to 18s. Dunno if they make those in A052 though.

No clue on headers, but you'll feel the annoyance of stopping for fuel more often and with fewer stopping options if you go E85.

Makes sense. I figured CS was a bad idea but kinda hoped that it wasn't. Maybe with the right shocks and bump stops it would be OK but the shocks likely cost as much as just getting the STX...

Any idea how much of that is spring/shock vs the bound up rear sway? In CS you can fix the bar, leaving the TRD bar "stock" up front and using whatever in the back.

I'd go SSC if I were looking primarily for an autox/track car.

For STX I'm guessing that the 17+ is slightly better overall to run on 255s with the shorter gearing and slightly improved engine....
