Solved: idle was to high. Had idle set at 1200rpm...

Solved: idle was to high. Had idle set at 1200rpm pulled idle down to 975 fixed the issue. 1200 was to high to zero VVT.

Probably! Well I'm running a big 4 inch thick intercooler with 3 inch charge piping. Also deleted the mustache so the intercooler is pretty open.

Large turbines are less restrictive so they don't get as hot as smaller ones. Large compressors also don't stretch the air that is entering the turbo as much, which also keeps charge tempature down.

They do look good but I don't have any.
