My guess if no arms are bent is that you have actual frame rail damage.

If that's not the case then you could have something as simple as a damaged/bent strut mount. I'd start here first.

Agreed with the MR2's being harder to drive being mid engine, short wheel base. Getting into oversteer with an AW11 and controlling it would be far more difficult than with an AE86.
