Nah on coilovers it doesn't feel sluggish at all, just make sure to get a proper alignment and dial in your negative camber. The car feels more planted than stock but in a good way.

Yeah lower offset pushes the wheel out toward the fender, I would probably pick a different wheel rather than running spacers for sure. I'm lowered about 2" or more and have no rubbing lock to lock....

I would spring for the KW V3s if you're going that route (fully adjustable), or I'd recommend the CSG TEIN Flex A, but yeah coilovers are the way to go...

Personally I would definitely go with the KW V3s, 25mm lower looks nice and proportionate on an otherwise stock car. The KWs are essentially the best buy coilovers unless you're going to go all out...
