Thats true, offset is as importance as width. Mine is 9" with +42, maybe with a little less offset i would have been able to dial in more negative camber up front without worrying about the inside...

I think it'll be too much, i have the 17x9" with 255/40 up front and if too low the tire will hit the inner front fender liner. You'll need serious camber settings and some good fender rolling it...
