If i hearken back to my powertrain systems class, think about the power output of those engines and less about the displacement. power out has to be more or less scaled by power in. the differences...

Over the years, I've been more than convinced that MPG has more to do with where you drive and how you drive. Right pedal goes down, MPG goes down.
