Dealer/Scion problems

When i got my frs in mid january, I traded in a 12 mazda3, it had 1st gen ms3 wheels on it, I told both the sales guy and the finance guy that I wanted them back. I brought the stock wheels to them and tried to contact them several times and never was able to talk to anyone until today when the receptionist surprised the sales guy and got him on the phone. He told me some nonsense about how he would find out and call me tomorrow. After all this I tried to call 866-70scion and it rang once and some survey offering me a Caribbean cruise started I answered the questions just to have a computer tell me all the CSR are talking with other customers and hang up on me.
What can I do?
I'm about to start posting some vulgar things about the dealer and scion but I'd rather not.
Can anybody give me some direction?

what does your sales agreement say? does it say you were supposed to sell the stock wheels and get back the other ones? is the car still actually there when you go to the lot?

The agreement doesn't say anything about the wheels, salesman said something about how they sold the used car lot to another branch of the same dealer.

You're likely out of your wheels.

Sorry that it happened, but without it in writing you have nothing to stand on or legally defend that that was ever agreed on. I would look over it again, or if you have anything in email agreeing to this between the salesperson and yourself.

But I'm no lawyer, your best bet is to contact one if you feel you have a legitimate case or to at least see if you have one.

I suggest you have a chat with the manager of the dealership.

Go down to the dealer in person, and talk to management. Chances are your wheels are gone, shame on your sales guy.

But, if you make a big enough stink to the manager, they may be willing to make it right for you some other way.

So aren't they just factory Mazda wheels? Not like they were aftermarket or anything, they prob assumed they came with the car.

This!^^^^^^^^
No number of phone calls, emails, letters, skywriting, smoke signals, etc will get the same reaction as an irate costumer standing on your shop floor.
Don't head in that way though at least try the nice guy method first.

And wear a suit with a briefcase (if you have one). They'll think, "Bruh, this guy's serious!"

This is known in New York City as a "heat case". :paddle:

Ya, actually a good point! There are just some things you should not wear for such a meeting.

hey that number you called was wrong by the way.

rucfj159 03-13-2015 07:52 PM

I called the right number today, hopefully this will all get sorted next week. I haven't received any calls from the dealer today, big surprise. The scion rep said that they will get a push from corporate to resolve this issue.

nothing is going to happen unless you show up in person, get names, and have something in writing.

At most the salesman will get fired.
What wheels? What car? Car is gone.
Do you have this in writing? Sorry we cant help you.
How is this a problem of toyota motor corp? they will just contact the dealer rep and you will get the "do you have this in writing?" and "who was the sales person?" "is this true?" "fired"

What do you want to happen? Do you want the sales person to lose their job? You won't get the wheels back, it's long gone.
It all goes back to... Do you have it in writing? no? ok bye then.
