Oil and water cooling

So, lets discuss about oil and water temperate issue.

Your
1) Cooling modification
2) City cruising water/oil temperature
3) Track water/oil temperature

Here is main:
1) FBM shroud with Spal fans, Koyo radiator, FBM oil cooler, additional hood and bumper ventilation
2) 205F/217F
3) 219F/246F

1. Perrin Oil Cooler
2. City: Water 190 F, Oil 170 F (winter) 190 F (Summer)
3. Track (65 F ambient): Water 212 F, Oil 214 F

Bonus track data from the same day from a BRZ with no cooling mods running the same data collection utility and running the same pace:
Water 212, Oil 276

Have you (or anyone else) had any issue with low oil pressures with the cusco oil cooler?

0) NA - Factory tune
1) Cusco Oil Cooler
2) - No data -
3) 201 F / 255 F (Converted from C) 15min session

Bonus: I managed to get the temps up to 208 F / 266 F on a 30 minute session.

I am only just installing an oil pressure gauge. Why would there be an issue with oil pressure when there are no long lines to run?

While I don't have hard facts we do have a really looooong right-hand sweeper on one of our tracks which normally causes issues with oiling. I've had no issues.

0: na w/tune
1: stock rad, custom OC 13 row core.
2: ???
3: max 200ish water / 230 oil.

NA with tune
removed the rubber seals around hood
grill delete

My drive to work is mostly highway and the oil temp would always get hot ont he highway- I have seen it get up to 220 F cruising on a hot doing 80 MPH. But once I did the grill delete I was surprised to see my oil temps consistently 5-10F cooler. It hasn't gotten over 210 yet and that was normal before. I don't really get it and I wasn't expecting it. My IAT is down a few degrees and I expected that but the oil temp thing was a surprise.

There is some talk about the heat exchangers in the cusco oil cooler (and maybe the standard OEM Subaru coolers) being a little bit restrictive for oil flow vs no cooler or the standard oil-air coolers. Not sure if there's any truth in it, and it's good to hear your experience, thanks.

So correct me if I am wrong, I was under the impression oil temps below 212F are not a good thing because you are not vaporizing water that is coming in through fuel system?

I see some above that are below that threshold. Ideally I thought oil temperatures should be in the 230-260 range???

Ideally it should be, and coolers like the cusco help warm the oil up to temperature more quickly on engine start. However my oil gets up to 260 on track (on a warm day, even with short sessions) and this is right at the top of the safe limit - my tune limits the engine to 5k rpm if it goes above this, so I need a cooler to keep it just below this.

Sorry, just now seeing this, I did not have a pressure gauge installed unfortunately.
