People that have no regard for others around them. Basically, assholes that are deliberately offensive to others.

One of the most amazing things in New York, or perhaps even one of the worlds wonders...
Is when you go past a certain line in New York that lands you in redneck land. It's extremely random. You'll see a lot of Rollin' coal around those parts.

so because they have diesel trucks and "roll coal" that makes them "ignorant, degenerate rednecks?"

Who's being a discriminating hipster douche bag now?

The whole idea of doing so is to blast smoke into peoples faces...

i live in a town of about 20k people about 3 hours from the Appalachians in the "South." Most everyone in this town are to poor to afford trucks like that.

The people that can afford trucks like that are rich kids that think it's cool to act like a redneck. See "Buckwild" on MTV

I've seen some absolute shitboxes that can't be worth their weight in scrap driven by our local white trash "rolling coal" up here.

Didn't think so...............

I've had a 2010 and a 2013 truck. Both would "roll coal" if I got on it hard enough. Just as if some of you do at a light most likely. I find it funny a person from Washington, Connecticut and Canada has such a stereotypical mindset of "rednecks" and the south. Maybe that's how that wannabe's rednecks are up North. (Not all people are like that, just naming the states of the people above that have this said mindset) But down here it's NOTHING like that. We actually have respect for others and would give the shirt off our backs or give money to someone that needs it. Unless MTV chooses to shoot a scripted show and gives the south a bad image.

Someone like that generally wouldn't fall under the categories of ignorant and degenerate, or at least I wouldn't think so.
