I'm a long-time lurker on this forum, but I just found these and noticed they weren't shared on here yet, so I finally got off my butt and joined up so I could share them:

would it have any effect on the cars performance?
or is it just for looks?

So the big spoiler and lip kit is called the Nurburgring package!!!

Nur Package looks like its the most functional package out of the lot:
- it appears to have canards molded into the front lip to generate more downforce
- judging from the height of the rear wing, it is exposed to more "clean air" thereby producing a reasonable amount of downforce

Modellista package is a pure styling package: form > function

TRD package seems like a blend between form and function:
- Just like the Nur package we see molded canards in the front lip but in a less aggressive form
- Rear diffuser may have some function but I'm thinking that it's been design more towards styling than function

Ings N Spec looks like it's addressing cooling from the front bumper
- unlike the stock 86 bumper, the middle opening of the front bumper is larger and it features openings where the foglights are (which would otherwise be blocked by the indicator and foglight in the stock bumper)
- we also see that like the LFA, there is a hood gap to assist the cooling in the engine bay, however there is no apparent outlet for the air in the form of a vented hood
- like the Nur package, the rear wing is mounted high enough to deliver some form of downforce.

well.... at least thats my take on the functionality of these kits. I could be wrong.

The drawing makes it look like Subaru BRZ.

:word:
It's more like BRZ STI than N-spec 86.

DIG1992 12-30-2011 08:23 PM

Nur Spec sound right since it was tested on the nurburgring.

WingsofWar 12-30-2011 08:38 PM

sigh....

I love that the Toyota GT-86 Nur-Spec (lol @ Nissan GT-R Nur-Spec) now has a name. That would be nice to see Toyota Nur-Spec emblem

And that that we get a teaser of INGs design study which iv been asking them for several weeks now.

Im sad that my design study is taking too long for both BRZ and 86 Renderings.

I highly doubt that supercharger on the TRD now

Looks like my preffered package tho

Was getting a bit worried that we'd never see a 86 WoW kit. Good to hear it's still in the works. I'm looking forward to your design regardless of how long it takes. :)
