Probably because it was a premium, theres pics posted in the General auto show thread of the red one...I actually like it a lot looks good without fogs and a spoiler.

I was thinking the same thing in the hope of adding a WRX (hatch) for my shop, but I'm sure my boss would know I would be out driving all the time instead of being in my office.

I know some folks love it but i can't stand that old school looking silver painted piece. They should've painted the HVAC surround instead.

Ya originally I read the premium would have a black dashboard and only the limited would be silver. not a big fan of the silver.. but honestly lets be real. now were just nitpicking :thumbsup:

For what it's worth, just called another local Subaru dealer, he said they haven't had any interest in the car yet, told him I wanted to make a deposit in the next couple weeks, he said his manager should have pricing and pre-order stuff ready around then (mid-late feb?).

I think the simple look is fabulous, don't know how i feel about the touch screen thing but I guess I don't have a choice :iono:

Probably will be plenty of kits to customize the dash so you won't have to live with the silver for too long

Yep I am going FR-S but...it still depends on price. If the BRZ premium is priced the same as the FR-S...then BRZ Premium since you do get the HIDS. The HIDs are going to be the most expensive factory part to add in to the FR-S.

I will just order parts from subaru or toyota japan to get to where I want.

Nice finds! Blue still looks amazing, no contest for me :)

Darn, the silver looks quite nice but is a bit too light of a color, while the gray is too dark. Somewhere in between is what I'd ideally want.

Also I never cared for blue but the blue is growing on me :O

I hope those JDM tips are optional for US BRZs. They look much more fitting than the smaller USDM tips.

IT doesnt help that it looks like the knobs are sourced from the cheapo crap feelin yaris peanut butter lid knobs.....

When i can(since its likely the FRS is gonna look like this), im gonna find a way to replace those knobs with something less cheap looking.

Im hoping one of toyota's models get updated better knobs by that time and they should just be a quick swap :D

First time I noticed the "snow" button.

The automatic shift knob area looks very cheap and just unfinished.

I'm glad I'm going manual.

I'd actually prefer if the manual shifter was as low as the automatic one. It looks quite tall in the pictures of the M/T version...

I think the Manual shifter position is very similar to the S2000, it will look tall but because you sit low it will be just about right. I'm speaking from my experience so Im not sure how height factor into this, my 02 Civic SI has a dash rally/touring shifter set up as well so I'm sorta used to the shifter being up alittle higher.

And Silver is gorgeous on both cars FRS/BRZ, don't know why it has the lowest votes on the color polls. I'll definitely consider it.
