However, my dad is coming to town and with the BRZ making an appearance, I'd say it's worth checking out.

Eugene, eh? I'm a student down here, last year at UO.

Yeah, but I heard Lamborghini is making a comeback to this years show, so that could make it better if it is true. I am a sophomore up at WSU, but my family lives down in Eugene and we've lived there for 12 years

hahahaha, funny you mention that. A Gallardo burned down while trying to burn off most of its gas "for safety reasons." By what method did they burn off the gas, you might ask? By wedging a piece of wood to peg the accelerator and redlining the engine...

I have seen more red hondas peeling the clear coat then any other red cars...

Depends on the year. Plenty of pink hondas.

The dark green hondas are the worse for clear coat peeling :)

Along this line of thinking...does Subaru use the BRZ dark grey color on any of thier existing cars, or is this a new color for them?

I have a 2011 DGM STi. It is a dark grey. Awesome color.

Exactly my thoughts. I really thought my next car would be white, but you seem to lose all the hood lines with the white. Just looks so vanilla, I'll be getting blue even though I'll hate looking at the scratches.

As far as everybody asking for pics of the subaru colors, these cars have been out for years. If you haven't seen a WR Blue WRX over the past 10 years, you've been living under a rock, lol. As for the rest of the colors, just search:

LOL I rarely (ie once a year or so) wash my cars so I'm actually curious to see that :)

KevinDuMa 01-26-2012 01:05 AM

Seriously considering red! Still waiting on interior shots of that premium

DommerEOD 01-26-2012 02:20 AM

The red is definitely a good look on that car. Having second thoughts now..

RWD_only 01-26-2012 06:15 AM

I'll have my camera in hand when I go to the autoshow this Friday.

meWant 01-26-2012 08:43 AM

i'd say its either white, silver or dark gray for me

TRD_07 01-26-2012 10:14 AM

Any luck of spotting a semi delivering some FRS's? I love the red and silver on the BRZ but I prefer the FRS for aesthetic reason and now BRZ STI is a different story. Nice post btw.

I was pretty set on WRB (would be my 3rd of this color) but now I'm not so sure. DGM is beautiful on the current WRX/STI and that red looks MUCH better than I expected... I'd need to see it in person though, and that's pretty much impossible before ordering it :(

Also, the WRB for the original BRZ show models was WRBII (a lighter, more metallic color than the traditional WRB) do we know if the final production color will be the traditional WRB or this new WRBII?
