Now given the red, I think we've seen ever color that the BRZ has to offer:
(Granted, we haven't had an actual "real life" spotting of the dark gray or white yet)

White was shown at Tokyo Motor Show.

I'm loving the Red BRZ. Finding 3 BRZs in the wild. Winning.

The one color I want to see is still living in PS land :mad0259:

Come on....someone please find a real dark grey BRZ, it has to be hiding somewhere...

:search:

Who do you have to kill to get a real life pic of the dark grey! That is the color I have my heart set on and they are taunting me on purpose by hiding it, lol!

Tbxgz 01-24-2012 08:56 AM

The red BRZ doesnt have the hood lines near the badge. Looks so much better without them imo...

:word: I want that as my color but it has been torture.

DommerEOD 01-24-2012 09:37 AM

wow... I can't believe myself for saying this but I don't like it in Red. Maybe that's the photo, I actually like it alot in Silver. The least wanted color LOL and Borge...your playing with us right?....look around. Might end up owning a third silver car, low maintenance looks great all the time, can't see em in foggy areas etc etc.

There are very few colors of red that look good to me on a car. Personally anything outside of Rosso Scuderia or Rosso Fuoco just don't do much for me.

I'm in agreement here, not to fond of red on cars unless its a specific shade. Personally, I like to avoid red on a car altogether because it garners unwanted attention from the 5-0 (Not that I speed around, but cops pull people over in my area for the stupidest of reasons). On top of that, red cars are typically more costly to insure because the insurance companies charge more because the paint is more expensive.

I agree with the extra attention, but I've never heard of an ins company charging more based on the color of a car.

My dad is an autobody worker and works closely with insurance companies like state farm. Each color of paint costs different prices, usually red is the most expensive to manufacture. These factors determine a final appraisal on the repair of a car. Probably makes no difference in payments on generic insuring of a car until after the fact so probably jumped the gun a little on that one, lol. My bad.

Rennaisance Red is one of the deepest and best reds I have seen on a car. Problem was, Toyota painted it Single Stage, so I believe there was no clear. It faded fairly quickly...

That makes a lot more sense. Don't forget red paint, or any paint with pigment added, is heavier than white paint. So for the true weight weenies they should obviously be picking up a white FR-S/BRZ.

Not the best way to build consumer confidence in your paint quality.

T^T all the colors I wanted looks better on an 86 than it would on a BRZ( I know it sounds stupid but it didn't strike me like when I saw it on an 86). I'll just wait till I see them in person now, or see what deals I get on what ever color. I don't really mind if it's black and it's like a grand under MSRP lol. Thanks for finding pics.

Looks like BLUE, black or Silver for BRZ and RED or Gray for FRS even orange. For me.
