The New Dodge Hornet
Motortrend: “The Hornet GT's Hurricane4 turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 which pairs with a nine-speed automatic, will make 295 lb-ft of torque and at least 265 horsepower.
The cheapest Hornet will cost around $31,500. Dodge justifies that number by also loading its offering with premium standard equipment, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, rear parking sensors, and dual-zone climate control.” https://www.motortrend.com/uploads/2...UV_2.jpg?w=414 https://www.motortrend.com/uploads/2...UV_3.jpg?w=414 https://www.motortrend.com/uploads/2...UV_4.jpg?w=414 |
The bastard son of a wild night between Mazda CX and Honda Civic.
Im not into crossovers that much, but it looks nice. Can’t speak for the quality and reliability of Mopar products. Drove way too many in my rental days and was never convinced. |
Another boring car.

Chrysler, like gm is beholden to the government hence the push towards evs and generic crossover stuff like this. Hope it comes with a mask dispenser

It isn't bad at all. Porsche Macan profile with the fastback look. Sharp hood and front and rear. It should sell well.

I will give you that one. But with stipulations. Even more so with the current market and what some folks are asking for a 13 BRZ. It is super fun, sort of reliable (Refer to 2nd gen/ earlier 1sts) depending on how much fun you decide to have, and sort of cheap if you save for long enough. But yeah, for all intents and purposes, the twins sort of check all the boxes. |

I can't think of another car that is able to serve as one's only car that is more fun short of a $60,000 Porsche or BMW. You mentioned reliability. What is unreliable about our cars? Are you referring to the RTV in the oil pickup? I think as time goes on people will start to realize that is not the cause of the miniscule number of failed engines. And yes, people are asking a ridiculous amount for used BRZs. No doubt. But I question whether or not that is out of line with other used cars. |
