Thoughts on fitment? Need moar low

about to drop some money on coils and LCAs... any thoughts on dimensions to get this all snugged up?
I'm currently running stock tires (P215/45R17) on 17X9 XXRs on stock suspension. Ready to order Tein Flex Z and SPC LCAs. Thanks :thanks: |

Not sure what you are trying to ask. Yes you can lower the car with Flex Z's and RLCAs. I wouldn't run Flex Z's lower then about -32mm from stock or they going to ride like shit. Judging from your tire/wheel combo I think you are aiming for looks. If you plan to run really low and a lot of camber you may want to get toe arms too. The stock ones don't have a lot of adjustment. SPC's are good and cheap.

I would start with tires that at least come close to fitting the wheels.

You should try going without LCAs, you might find you don't need them. I didn't at -1.25" lowered, -2.7 degrees rear camber at zero rear toe.

I'm on Flex-Zs (using out-of-the-box settings) and 245/40-17s.

Being on Vancouver island... if you don't wanna have a bad time getting on and off the ferry, I suggest lowering no more than 1".
I'm on the Eibach pro kit, and I almost always scrape a bit on the ferry. Personal preference, but you should try a 245 tire on 9" wide wheels. Just the tiniest amount of stretch look, but looks better IMO (and will be safer) than 215 stretched on that wide of a wheel. |
