The Official OpenFlash Tablet Turbo/SC E-tuning thread

Hi guys,
Much of our day is spent custom e-tuning various FI kits. Most recently, we have been seeing a huge surge in SBD turbo kit/OFT350 work. Customers are sending us data logs and we are sending them back revised files until things are perfect. So in this thread, I'll just customer data logs and comments :)

First let's start off with a data log from Johnny S's OFT350/SBD kit. It is running 11psi of boost on pump gas. This log is from the starting baseline we use to kick things off (and customize from that point on):

Analysis:
Great way to start off a custom tune with a tune that already looks very suitable for the car. Just a very small amount of FLKC at high RPM which we will get out in the next update.

Any plans to expand OFT's FI support to a more popular SC setup? JRSC/Edelbrock come to mind...

We already support the Vortech SC and Phantom ESC. All we need to support a JRSC or an Edelbrock setup is a car equipped with it. That would give us enough time to generate a baseline starting file. Funny enough I haven't even seen a local car with either of those. SBD turbo kits seem to be the most popular up here.

And here is Braden R's first OFT350 data log using the starting OFT350 baseline file. Pretty darn good. Again, just some small tweaks to make at high RPM.

And direct from Australia, Tim V's very first log of the OFT350. It's summertime down under but the log looks pretty great :)

@Shiv@Openflash - A little Off Topic, but it does deal with F.I. just on another platform.

You have OFT for the Fiat Abarth (1.4L Turbo), soon the S.O. will be trading her Fiat Abarth Cabrio for a Fiat 500X Pop CUV 6MT (the one with the same 1.4L multi-air2 turbo in the current Abarth). The idea is to make a sort of home-grown 500x Abarth (no fake badges though). So far we've found one tuner that has options for it here. We'd rather work with you if you have the desire to tune for it. Admittedly this is a seriously niche model so I'd understand if you'd pass. Still, we can bring it up from SoCal if need be after it's purchased if you'd like to do a little R&D. If not that's ok too, I'll just keep loving the ish out of the OFT+PROcede controller on my ESC. Thanks!

Hey Shiv, I have the Edelbrock kit and am not so crazy about the canned tune - located in SJ but willing to drive up for some tuning time. Maybe you can PM me some details on how much it would cost to get setup with openflash and custom tune? Interested in E85 down the road too, so maybe you can help out there too.

Please shoot me an email at sales@openflashperformance.com and perhaps we can work something out.

Jason O's latest OFT350 data log. Only 1 revision in and things look quite nice. There is 0.5 to 1 deg of FLKC (fine learning knock correction) at high RPM which isn't a big deal. But still worth addressing by confirming fuel quality (no generic brands). If fuel is good, then dialing things back slightly up top is the next step. Either way, the car should perform nicely and, most importantly, safely.

any of the tunes work with 6at?

I'd be interested in seeing some maps created for JRSC and Kraftwerks. I love my OFT and would be great to keep using it if I continue to look towards one of these kits. In my research, I did find ST-Autosports used the OFT on the Kraftwerks kit, so it has been done. Someone local go visit Shiv ;)
