Spacers for flush fitment on 225's?

As the title says... I'm on the stock 17x7 (STi) wheels and am looking for a more flush fitment with the body panels. I'm on 225 tires however, and my measurements might be a bit off from someone who has 215mm tires on stock wheels.

What would be a good spacer setup for 225mm tires for the wheels to sit flush with the fenders?

I know this topic is probably beat to hell but I can't find anything consistent for my situation.

The difference in width between 225s and 215s is approx 0.4". So, if I were unsure of how flush a 25mm or 20mm spacer would make the wheels, I'd go with 25mm and then mill them down if they poked too far out. The difference between the 2 is negligible at approx 0.19". However, based on pictures in many threads of 20mm spacers on OEM wheels/ tires, I would go with a 20mm spacer given you have a bit of a wider tire.
