Tyre size for 18x8.5 +44 F 18x9.5 +44 R

Seeking some advice about which tyre size for 18x8.5 +44 F 18x9.5 +44 R setup. I'd prefer to run square tyres, on the staggered rims.

I'll probably lower about an inch from stock.

I was thinking 235/40's all around (have confirmed that I can legally put this on a 9.5 rim) but to be honest, I think the low profile tyre / stretch thing looks a little average, and they do look stretched on a 9.5 rim.

So am thinking also about 255/35 all round. But I'm concerned about these rubbing. They have less OD than the 235/40's, and the 255/35's end up being super close to my stock OD. But I'm seeing setups that have to dial in quite a bit of camber to get these tyres to tuck in, although these were +40 or +38 setups, so my offset works in my favour here.

Thoughts?

Or whether I should just give up the idea of running a square tyre setup, and go 225/40 on the front and 255/35 on the back.

My Enkei Raijins are 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5, +45 all around. I ended up going 225/40 up front and 255/25 in the rear. I almost went 245/35 up front, but changed my mind at the last minute. I'm very happy with how it looks.
