Hmmn think this is a new thing on Photobucket that is shrinking the image, I am not liking it. I will look for a way to share the full size of this... somehow. Attempt #1: Can someone try clicking on this link to Google+, and then see if by clicking on the panoramic pic you can view it full screen? https://plus.google.com/photos/11167...KaYzL2U7orVwAE Attempt #2: Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ip54ob9smc...ive%20Pano.jpg To echo what others have said, a big BIG THANK YOU to J.R. and Romie for organizing this event. Great turnout, great cars, great scenery, all around a good time. And thanks to Romie for hooking me up with the painted tails and installing them to boot! BTW I was part of the group that got lost, drove out to Muir Woods, turned back, and then drove Hwy 1 all the way back to 101. When I realized most of the group was just headed into SF via the GG Bridge, I turned back and went up to Sears Point to visit WORKS. Guess no one else made it up there after the drive (though I did see another 86 leaving the track, must have been at the NASA event today since it had racing numbers on it) but I spent a good amount of time chatting with Peter who even though they had "closed" and had some real racing R&D work to turn to, took the time to chat with me about all kinds of things, from the exhaust design on the FR-S/BRZ to Dyno/ECU tunes, to Audi TT-RS's ... he is very excited about our cars and has plans to roll out some new products very soon. He was very cool and I look forward to seeing what they put out. By the time I left there it was pitch black outside... http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...1-10195905.jpg |
It was a great meet.. thanks JR and Romie.. BTW Romie, where did you get your tails painted? oh and thanks for the number...lol

Did you make it in time to the hospital? Btw, huge props to 86_ZN6 and Frsguy707 for organizing the event! Thank you Iron Chef for the awesome food and his lovely assistant. Can't wait for the next meet. |
Bad news everyone! I think I pushed my car too hard. I just got the CEL
Edit: We should probably tag a mod if we want this to make it to the front page. @WingsofWar |

Props to JR and Romie. You guys did great. By far the best meet i've attended. I was wishing it would rain a bit that day, my tires grip too much.

Hi Jacksmiley,
I got the headlights from specialized performance in Florida. Adrey will be happy to help you get any parts your need from Japan. |
Here's my Hwy1 cruising video....
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWI0CDvX_Vk&hd=1"]Hwy 1 drive - FT86Club NorCal 86/BRZ owners club - YouTube[/ame] sorry for the weird format, it's the way my cellphone holder mounts the phone. And due to the traffic on Hwy1 there's no dramatic chases, no awesome drift angles, etc. Just some solid scenery and chilled cruising mode. :happy0180: |

make sure you re-stock any engine parts you installed if any and add your car to the list of CELs. it's not that you pushed your car too much it's just the ECU not doing it's job properly they will likely replace it |

Yes the JDM specs..they are angled to the right but not that much..the car is so low that it is not really an issue.
|
Big thanks to JR and Romie for putting this all together, thanks to all the sponsors for their participation and thanks to everyone that came out. All in all at was a great time and I'm already looking forward to the next event!
