86/BRZ CAMS Affiliated Car Club
 

Hi Everyone

I want to get my CAMS L2S licence and that means joining a car club. I've looked through the list of clubs and don't see anything that stands out as a great fit.

I've got an 86 and live in Victoria. I'd like to find a club that runs a few events, maybe some track days etc. I just want to get more involved in motorsport in an amateur way.

Any suggestions?

Depending where you are in Vic, Melton Motorsports Club is a good one. They run a whole variety of events, and there's a hill climb up at Bryant Park in June.

:P suggest the 86/BRZ club of victoria get their act together and become CAMS affiliated like we did ;)

NSW 86/BRZ Club Inc. are CAMS affiliated been a member since it was created. Currently have 300+ Facebook members, not sure how many of us are official members, I can safety say, off the top of my head we have around 35+ official members (including myself). :D

we just had our first track day as a club. TWAS HELLA LOT OF FUN!!! :D

Call the Cams office in Victoria and see if they can advise you in a club in your area. It may not necessarily be a club you are thinking of. In queensland we have the Brisbane sporting car club that organises things like motorkhanas etc. Most of the clubs know each other and should be able to tell you what will suit most.

It's more like 70+ :-D

you can join toyota car club of Vic ( http://www.tccav.org.au/ ) you own a Toyota, you are in vic, and they are cheap :)


Highly reccomend them :) I am a member, they are nice guys too.

Skylines Australia Victoria (SAUVIC.) One of the cheapest, great events, great sponsors and not just for Skylines (at least half the club don't currently own Skylines.)

Damn QLD need to get there act together as well!
