Tesla Cyber Truck (Most Hideous Truck/Tank Ever)

Looks like a Countach and a truck had a child :barf:
They just smacked the door of a normal door then did it with half the intensity, and yes, it didn't dent, but the demo was ehhh. The glass just broke during the presentation about how the glass doesn't break. :bonk: |
OMFG! Has Elon completely lost it?
|
Well ... The video is now unavailable. Watched some of it hoping it would make sense at some point. I'm just confused by it.
Edit:. It got better. Editedit:. The video, not the truck. |
Wahooing from the Tesla fan boys is sooooo sad. The thing is really bad. It looks like flat sheet metal is just stuck together in angular pieces. I guess that probably keeps the price down:
$40k for the entry model 250 mile range. $50K for 300 mile range. $70k for 500 mile range. Faster than a 911 Porsche and capable of towing 14,000 pounds. https://www.theverge.com/2019/11/21/...e-release-date https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/jzZw...8.16.11_PM.png https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/t...ruck-unveiled/ |

I love the Telsa fan boys screaming
You could cover it in shit and they would scream innovation You think they would at least design a body that didn't look like a first year apprentice sheet metal worker could knock up in half a day I wonder what mate of his built the body, and if the share holders know how much the body cost to make, not the materials, the actual fabrication Worst concept car design ever...... I wonder what the brakes are like????? |

Silver lining:
At least the truck will survive the vandalism and graffiti this design will inspire. Maybe Elon is more of a realist than we give him credit for. |
The Cyber Truck might be the ideal work truck (rugged and functional), but there is a huge shift towards buying luxury editions of trucks, and this thing just missed the mark with the design. I would buy a Rivian over this any day. I’m sure Rivian’s CEOs were watching this reveal with wet palms and white knuckles only to finish it with high fives.

Nope. |
|
The fact that somebody actually sat there and thought “This looks great! People are going to love this” is incredible.
|
I don't even understand how it is a truck thats going to take away the F-150 fanbase. I didn't see a functional bed on the thing, looked more like an even uglier Aztek.
